Painting Day

Set in the iconic and beautiful surrounds of Pin Mill, Suffolk, an Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this one or two day watercolour painting
course provides expert tuition from artist Sandra Pond, a watercolour
illustrator for The Guardian and numerous books. The day provides
techniques of basic watercolour, application of paints, brush strokes,
sourcing material, how to work from imagery and many more useful tips.

All this and a meal at the famous Butt and Oyster included in the price. 

The day is hosted by Sandra Pond, an extremely accomplished
watercolourist with work published all over the world. Whether you're
an absolute beginner or want to improve your technique you will definitely
benefit from Sandra's calm and attentive approach. The courses are
limited to 8 students giving opportunity for personal advice and tuition.
You will need to bring with you a sketch book, a digital camera, if you
have one, wellies or similiar and suitable clothing. You can paint in the
comfortable surrounds of the studio so don't worry about the weather.
A canvas, watercolour paints, brushes, easel, palette and a few group
digital cameras will be supplied free of charge.
